During nearly two centuries, Maselis has built up a wealth of experience in the production of cereal-based health foods. The company is now a highly respected group, made up of Maselis N.V. and its subsidiaries, Maselis Hungaria and Mulder Breakfast Cereals.

Maselis N.V. has three plants, two in Belgium and one in Hungary. The maize mill, one of its production lines in Belgium, turns maize into grits and masa flour for a variety of partners in the snack food sector.

Maselis also operates an oat mill and a flaking unit, which produces oat flakes, flakes for breakfast cereals and pre-cooked pearled wheat.

In the extrusion department, cereals are processed - under high pressure and at high temperatures - in order to produce ingredients for state-of-the-art food- and non-food applications. These products are usually specially tailored for individual customers.

The combination of centuries of experience and an ever-youthful eye for new trends has given Maselis and its partners a unique advantage when it comes to accessing niche markets, such as organic and health food products.
